“I have used The Barrett Group on 3 separate transactions now (2 buys and 1 sale). The first buy was effortless. The second buy posed a slight challenge for my realtor, Lorraine. My fiancé and I needed to move into a new home before we had our first child. Well, Lorraine got it done and we were more than happy with the purchase and still are. Lastly was the sale of our old home. This transaction was the most difficult and truly tested the abilities of Lorraine and Andre. They ended up dealing with a buyer's agent who had no idea what he was doing, and they decided to help him through the process as much as they could because they knew the most important thing was to help us sell our property. Even still, that agent was unable to help the buyer and the deal fell through. The Barrett Group ensured I received the escrow deposit. The same buyer then found a more qualified realtor and despite a few more significant obstacles, The Barret Group came through again. I will always use them and I will always recommend them to anyone buying or selling their property. “The Barrett Group are simply wonderful! I was beginning the process of searching for my first home to buy. I knew right away I wanted a condo. I was working with another agent and he barely did anything for me. He just wasn't proactive in finding me places to look at. After a few weeks, I knew I had to find another realtor. I saw good reviews for Andre Barrett and the Barrett Group so I decided to reach out to them. They responded to my request that same day and set me up with Lorraine as my realtor.
Lorraine was everything I was looking for in a realtor! She started setting up showings for me and within a week, I found the condo I wanted to purchase. We found out that the seller for that condo was looking for a cash-only offer. I was initially disappointed but Lorraine contacted the listing agent right away and convinced him and the sellers to move forward with my offer, which was for a conventional loan. Lorraine made it happen and she was on the ball throughout the whole process.
The closing director, Sherri, was also a pleasure to work with. She did most of the heavy lifting with the closing process. My sincerest thanks to EVERYONE at the Barrett Group!
